JAY-Z’s Return Could Be Near
According to longtime collaborator and friend Memphis Bleek, new music from JAY-Z might be on the way. During an appearance on Drink Champs, Bleek shared that he recently caught up with Hov in Las Vegas after a performance. He recalled telling JAY-Z, “Save me a verse,” to which the rap icon replied, “Alright, I got you.” While Bleek didn’t share further details, the brief exchange has fueled speculation among fans about a potential comeback.
A Long-Awaited Follow-Up
JAY-Z’s last solo project, 4:44, was released in 2017 to critical and commercial success. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and earned multiple GRAMMY nominations, including Album of the Year, Song of the Year for its title track, and Record of the Year for “The Story of O.J.”
What Could Be Next
Though details remain scarce, Bleek’s comments suggest that JAY-Z may finally be returning to the booth after nearly eight years. Whether it’s a full album, a surprise single, or guest features, any new release from Hov is bound to be one of the most anticipated drops in hip-hop.
