The nominees for the 23rd annual Webby awards are out, and they're nodding Internet achievement from Lady Gaga and Childish Gambino to Fortnite, Lyft and Jeopardy!.

The Webbys are presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a group of Internet experts and professionals including Instagram Co-founder Kevin Systrom, Girls Who Code founder & CEO Reshma Saujani, among others. Each category is split into a regular award, chosen by the academy, and a "people's voice" award, which lets members of the public vote. Fans can vote at http://vote.webbyawards.com from now until Thursday, April 18 at 11:59 p.m. PST.

The organizations with the most nominations are Disney with 40, Warner Media with 39 and Vice Media with 35. The Webbys introduced a new suite of categories this year for excellence on social platforms, with nominees including Philadelphia Eagles, Ellen DeGeneres, DC Comics, National Geographic, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and many others.

The music video category includes hits like "This Is America" by Childish Gambino, Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's "Shallow" from A Star Is Born, A Tribe Called Quest's "The Space Program," Leon Bridges' "Beyond" and Jorja Smith's "On Your Own."

This year's awards received more than 13,000 entries from 70 countries. Of these, less than 10 percent were selected as nominees. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, April 23 and will then be celebrated at a ceremony hosted by Jenny Slate on May 13.
