Zehavi is a music artist who creates unique sounds that blend Mediterranean and Middle Eastern influences with electronic beats. The artist’s passion for his music is infused into his tracks and shows. Drawing on his life experience, Zehavi draws his listeners into his music with his authentic storytelling, soul-stirring humanity, and infusion of ethnic sounds with the Greek instrument, the bouzouki.

Zehavi describes his music as “not just about sound. It’s about energy and connection. Every performance tells a story of transformation: from the streets of a small town to the world’s biggest stages.”

Finding Freedom

Zehavi grew up poor and was raised in “a small, crowded room.” To earn money, he would sell desserts on the street. The electronic artist was gifted a bouzouki by his father when he was thirteen, which fundamentally changed his life. It was a doorway to a new world that made it possible for Zehavi to escape the struggles of his daily life. Music was his lifeline.

“Coming from a tough background, I found freedom and purpose in creating sound. When I first experienced electronic music at the Midburn Festival in the Negev desert, I felt a spark; it combined rhythm, emotion, and energy in a way that mirrored my life. That moment inspired me to dedicate myself fully to music,” Zehavi says.

Zehavi started to perform on the streets playing the bouzouki, and that experience laid the foundation for his ethnic electronic music while also lifting his spirit. Music carried him through various struggles in his life, from poverty to overcoming addiction.

“My path wasn’t easy, but every challenge built resilience and authenticity into my art. Music became both my therapy and my message: You can always rise again, no matter how deep you fall,” Zehavi shares.

Music Crosses Borders

Zehavi believes that his music is more than just electronic tracks with a live bouzouki or a live performance: it connects East and West. The first time he performed on an international stage, he witnessed people from various countries, cultures, and religions dancing and enjoying his music together. It had a profound impact on him. Zehavi understood that music can be a bridge to unite people despite their differences. That moment solidified his purpose to connect people across international borders through his music.

In 2023, Zehavi had a breakthrough when a clip of his music went viral on Instagram, drawing over 3 million views. Hundreds of opportunities to perform followed, and he played for audiences in Cyprus, France, Greece, and the Middle East. At one performance, Zehavi’s music was enjoyed by 30,000 attendees. The result of this boost in his career is that he is quickly becoming one of the most recognizable names in the ethnic-electronic genre worldwide.

Zehavi has capitalized on his growing popularity to secure a brand ambassadorship for a premium Mexican tequila company.

He has also branched out to other art forms, such as making his acting debut in a television series picked up by Paramount.

Zehavi is enjoying his success as he continues to enchant global music lovers and entertain festival audiences, but has one specific goal set for his future.

“My dream is to perform on the main stage of Tomorrowland and deliver a message of unity between cultures through powerful live music and shared energy,” Zehavi concludes.
